Jeff Mathews of Camarillo High is the player of the year for the Pacific View League football team.
Oxnard’s Henry Fernandez and Rio Mesa’s Jamaal Perkins are the offensive player of the year and back of the year, respectively.
The lineman of the year is Tyler O’Rear of Camarillo. The receiver of the year is Camarillo’s Ryan Molesworth.
Connor Benado of Rio Mesa is the defensive player of the year.
Other defensive players of the year were Oxnard lineman Tiai Salanoa, linebacker Jaime Razo of Pacifica and Hueneme back Allan Ewald.
Camarillo’s Dennis Riedmiller is the coach of the year.
Named to the all-league first team offense were: Nathan Anderson, Andy Dean and Chase Tackett, Camarillo; Leonard Baker, Hueneme; Alex Gavin, Aldo Lopez and Richie Sandoval, Oxnard; Jose Garcia and Max Mondol, Pacifica; and Quincy Awa-DuBose, Rio Mesa.
Selected to the all-league first team defense were: Cole Bernard, Tre Boswell, William Leaupepe, Kyle Macedo and Alek Reeves, Camarillo; Charles Boyd, Svondo Bradley and Trashaun Nixon, Hueneme; Adrian Noran and Terrell Watson, Oxnard; and Steven Cristobal, Rio Mesa.
