San Jose, Calif.-----Tight end Ryan Otten caught a pair of touchdown passes and defenders for each team scored on an offensive turnover as the Blue Team defeated the White Team, 21-10, in the 2010 San Jose State University Spring Football Game.

Otten, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound sophomore and a returning starter from the 2009 squad, was on the receiving end of a 3-yard pass from quarterback Jordan La Secla and the game's longest play of the night - a 55-yard pass from quarterback Dasmen Stewart. Overall, Otten finished with three receptions for 92 yards and his two scores for the Blue Team.

The White Team's only touchdown came on a 12-yard fumble return by defensive end Travis Johnson in the second quarter to open the scoring.

The Blue Team evened the score when sophomore Keenan Brown, playing defensive end at the time, batted a Matt Faulkner pass up in the air at the line of scrimmage, caught the free ball, and raced 45 unobstructed yards into the end zone.

Tyler Cope, last year's leading scorer, closed out the scoring with a second-quarter 35-yard field goal.

La Secla, Stewart and Faulkner shared the quarterback duties during the entire game for both teams. Overall, La Secla was 21-of-35 with an interception for 196 yards and one touchdown. Stewart was 8-of-12 for 83 yards and a touchdown. Faulkner, on the throwing end of more dropped passes than the other two signal callers, was 10-of-25 with three interceptions for 78 yards.

Wide receiver Marquis Avery led all pass catchers with 10 receptions for 98 yards for the White Team. Otten's three catches for 92 yards was second to running back Wade O'Neill pulling in four passes for 37 yards.

Sophomore Osa Aigbuza of the White Team was the night's number-one rusher with 37 yards on five carries. Returning starters Lamon Muldrow and Brandon Rutley gained 31 and 30 yards, respectively, for the Blue Team.
